The Montgomery PD is on scene of a serious vehicle accident near Route 31 and Caterpillar Drive. Southbound Route 31 (Lake St.) is closed at Baseline and Caterpillar Dr. is closed eastbound at Route 31.
Please seek alternate routes, the area will be closed for several hours.
The MPD responded to calls of shots fired in Gallant Fox and Troon. We are on scene and asking the public to please avoid the area while there is an ongoing investigation. One victim has been located at a nearby hospital. Further updates will be made as information is available.

Beginning Monday, July 31, the Village will resurface Concord Dr. between Gordon and Galena Rds. This project is estimated to take two months and includes pavement milling, patching, sideway repair and replacement, curb and gutter removal, new asphalt, and landscape restoration.
A house fire near the intersection of Kennedy and Gordon is under control following a response from the Montgomery-Countryside and Aurora Fire Departments. Fire and police are still on the scene, and kindly ask the public to avoid the area as they investigate and ensure safety.
