Probably the worst 3D... So much flickering throughout the scenes & we can see they layers in 3D scenes.

As I said, active 3D is tough to perfect. Looks like EPIQ’s active 3D failed exactly where I suspected! The tuning is apparently far from ideal. There is constant flickering, ghosting and 3D frequently gets inverted (stuff that is supposed to be inside screen appears outside, and vice-versa). This could be an issue in EPIQ 3D DCP as well as 3D syncing on hardware level. While it is sad, I hope people get their due refunds if the issue is not fixed ASAP. @epiqcinema @qubecinema

@rohithklv @epiqcinema They had many issues during the Mrng Show. So much flickering & even with 3D glasses we saw double images. Dark scenes we could see background & foreground layers,even the CC looks double. Everyone complained during the interval. Qube technicians started checking after the show.

I recorded my active 3D glasses using my phone, and I was surprised to see the lenses flickering in the video.

They don't appear to flicker like this while watching the movie, but the phone camera captures it because of how active 3D glasses work.

I also noticed that when I brought my phone very close to the glasses, the flickering became even more noticeable.

Found it pretty interesting!
