I have to see what happens this season. Maybe SF makes a trade for a player they really need. If not, and it ends short of a title again, It might be time to move on from Lynch or Shanahan. Being a perennial contender is great, but ending a 30+ SB drought is more important to me

Other than the letters A&B, I'm trying to find similarities between the way Aiyuk is acting compared to the way Antonio Brown did. Different situations, but both went AWOL on their teams. AB has proven to be a bad guy. BA could still be that, but he's just being dumb right now.

Niners are reportedly in hot pursuit of Maxx Crosby. Their biggest competition is rumored to be Philly. Lynch, you have to eventually get this done. You're the team that hasn't won a SB in over 30 years. It's time to show urgency.

I find this SF/Aiyuk standoff fascinating. Both have made it worse. However, SF is totally in their right to do what they are doing. BA has really no leg to stand on, considering he quit on the team and walked away w/o saying nothing to them, until now, when it's clearly too late

On paper, this draft class could be one of their worst. They've had many busts under Lynch/Shanny. But this year's picks have been reaches. Rarely do they draft best available player. Instead, it's whether he fits their locker room and play style. Talent is usually not#1 priority

Mike Evans is the exact type of WR the 49ers need. He's a true X receiver, which was supposed to be Aiyuk, now ends up being an upgrade despite Evans being 5 years older. But they can't stop here. 1 more big free agent, then lesser to add depth, along with the draft picks.

The Mike Evans signing would be better if the 49ers added another WR. Doubs would be perfect, but he might prove too expensive. Maybe they draft one. Even if they do, I would like a quick, cagey vet who can separate to compliment Evans.

Not sure who to believe as to the 49ers plans. All I know is their rivals have passed them by and this regime has been together for far too long to sit there and be satisfied with what they've done. Franchise is still in a 30+yr SB drought. This is no time to be overly judicious.

SF really needs to go all in this year. Their biggest rivals have won Super Bowls already and are primed for more. Whether it's trading for a Justin Jefferson or Maxx Crosby, signing key free agents, time is now. Lynch/Shanny have been here long enough where urgency has to set in

SF lost to a healthier, hungrier,& flat out better Seahawks team. Now it's up to the Niner brass to draft well, sign the right free agents, and/or trade for that missing piece. Do I trust them to do that. Not really because their track record hasn't been great the last few years

@minakimes SEA is now the team to beat for SF. First, they have to get stouter on the interior of the OL&DL. They can use a few playmakers as well. I would also like to see Kyle use more multiple TE/WR sets. Got to be dynamic, younger & versatile to attack this SEA defense. Not stale&old.

I would like to see Shanahan use 3,4,5 WR sets. Let the defense back off a little. This is where his stubbornness gets in the way. McVay has changed his offense multiple times. He's not Stafford, but you are paying Purdy like a franchise QB. It's time to evolve a little.

That was an embarrassing loss to go out with. At the same time,this team overcame and overachieved all season.They fought & willed themselves to victories,until they couldn't anymore.SEA made sure of that. And now SF must find ways to bring new life and energy into beating them..

I also feel SF has to get younger and more explosive at the skill positions, that includes possibly finding potential replacements for CMC and/or Kittle. WR should be upgraded as well, mostly on the outside. You need to be able to counter this SEA defense with speed and quicknes

Top off-season priority is getting stout in the interior of both lines. They thought they solved it last draft. But doesn't look promising, even though they lost their 1st rd pick. OL, against most teams they can get by, but not Sea and that's who they now have to hunt down.

I don't think SF can line up against this SEA team and beat them straight up. On offense, I would like to see Purdy roll out more, some more 3&4 WR sets. On D, if SEA comes out with the same game plan as last time, Saleh needs to run blitz more, play 5 man fronts.

@minakimes @billbarnwell SF has to force SEA offense to beat them differently this time. Case closed. They are certainly capable, but make them adjust & execute. Listen, SF has no playmakers on D right now, but what they lack in talent they make up for in other areas. After all, football is a team sport
