I've set up a portfolio website where I will be uploading all of my renders, animations and screenshots of 3D models.

@otherside_X42 God these replies are awful.
Anyways, it would be great for large, low density structures so I would like to see them do some orbital assembly with it. Something like a space station with spacious modules or a big Mars cycler.
There are some space start-ups but I honestly don't think much will come from them. For aerospace engineering in general, I could get a job at somewhere like Airbus, and I do plan on doing that first once I've gotten a degree.
Though, once I've got enough experience in engineering, (and if things haven't improved) I'll probably try to get American citizenship.
Living in the UK as a techno-optimist is strange. Every day on internet I see incredible things being built around the world and it feels like humanity is generally on an upwards trajectory. But, when I go outside I see none of that.
In the UK, no one talks about cool engineering projects or new science which could make the world a better place, and there isn't much being built other than more soulless copy-paste houses. In fact, it feels more like things have been slowly declining.
No one seems to have hope for a better future at all. I often find myself wondering if I even live in the same universe as the countries preparing to build bases on the Moon and Mars.
Don't get me wrong, this country is great and I love it deeply. It's not like good things aren't happening either. But, if nothing changes, it will eventually be left in the dust by countries like the USA and China as it fades into irrelevancy.
I do have hope that things will change, though. It's not too late for this little island.
Yeah, it's pretty much impossible to build a big tech company here. If I tried to build a company like SpaceX or Nvidia, I just couldn't, regardless of how good of a business man or engineer I am.
I am considering moving to the US so that I can work in the rapidly growing space industry over there.
Some LC-36 updates. Now that we’ve had access to the pad and integration facility we can share a bit of good news. The propellant farm, oxygen, liquid hydrogen and LNG tanks are all in good shape. This is good luck because these are very long lead items. The water tower is also good. The big support tower is damaged, but it can be repaired in place rather than torn down and replaced. The booster “Never Tell Me The Odds” and the three GS-2s that were onsite in the integration facility also look good.
I’ve seen some speculation that we might move directly to the 9x4 configuration, but we won’t do that. Rate manufacturing of 7x2 is going well, and we’re going to continue that at pace as planned and store the stages for use. In addition, we had already been working for some time on eliminating our transporter-erector in favor of an alternative vertical conop, and we’ll now go directly to that; so we don’t need a new transporter-erector.
We will fly again before the end of this year. Gradatim Ferociter.

It's still a work in progress so please let me know if you find any mistakes.
I also bought the domain https://t.co/mYQ3A7wLi3 but it may take some time for that link to work so just use the one in the post above for now.

Considering this thing just had the most powerful rocket ever built firing directly at it, it is in remarkably good condition.
A rapidly reusable launch pad for Starship seems quite feasible now.
