I can’t go visit my mom in the Columbarium and lay a wreath there now. I’ll just have to wait for Dec. 17, but I sure would have liked to have known!

We are saddened by the passing of #WWII Hero Russell LeeRoy Pickett. He was 94. Russell joined the @USArmy at 18 and was one of the only survivors in the first wave of soldiers to storm #Normandy Beach on #DDay, remembered as the “suicide wave.” #RIP #GreatestGeneration #WWII75
