I applied to Y Combinator once.

They turned me down.

I kept building.

Now the project is complete, we're nearing the beta launch of Aegis, and there's a completely different problem in front of me.

Aegis is an AI coworker built to actually do the work — research, browse, code, create deliverables, file PRs, communicate across channels, run recurring tasks and keep company context over time.

I didn't need a co-founder to build it.

YC didn't require me to have one either.

But I'm the technical founder, and we're now at the point where building the product and building the company are becoming two full-time jobs.

We're preparing the beta while also needing to raise pre-seed, recruit early users, build the community, develop GTM, talk to customers, pursue partnerships, recruit talent, and turn MoonDance Systems into an actual company.

Trying to do all of that while continuing to push the technical side forward has become a bottleneck.

So I'm looking for an entrepreneurial co-founder.

Not an employee.

Not a contractor.

A real founder.

Someone who can own the business side of MoonDance with the same intensity I bring to the technical side.

You don't need to be an engineer.

You do need to be extremely resourceful, commercially minded, comfortable with uncertainty, capable of selling, building relationships, recruiting, fundraising and creating momentum from nothing.
