Yes, every administration replaces U.S. Attorneys. That’s normal. What’s not normal is firing career prosecutors—especially those who worked on cases against you and your allies. That’s not “restoring confidence,” that’s authoritarian corruption in broad daylight.

Let’s be real: this isn’t about justice or fairness. You’ve already fired special counsel prosecutors, including those working on your classified documents case. You’ve forced out FBI agents who were investigating your allies. And now, you’re coming for career Assistant U.S. Attorneys, particularly those who prosecuted Jan. 6 insurrectionists—the people who literally stormed the Capitol for you.

These aren’t political appointees. They’re career civil servants whose job is to prosecute crimes, no matter who commits them. But you don’t want justice—you want loyalty. You don’t want an independent DOJ—you want a personal protection squad.

This is what happens in banana republics: a corrupt leader purges law enforcement so they can’t hold him accountable. You’re not “cleaning house.” You’re gutting the Justice Department and replacing it with people who will look the other way when you break the law.

Your so-called “Golden Age” isn’t about justice, it’s about revenge, cover-ups, and dismantling democracy in real-time.
