Oh good, you're awake.
The Moon fell on your farm.
Congrats, you're a landowner.
Moonfall Farms is open.
Free until level 6, no wallet until then.
Play: link below.
@Rubzem@threejs@TesanaAI Curious how the planet landings work in a browser tab. Does each planet stream in as you get close, or is it one scene the whole time? The ringed planet on the horizon is a great shot.
@codetaur A stick figure actually rowing with muscle forces is funnier than any hand-made animation could be. The day he catches a crab and flips himself out of the boat, that's the trailer.
@manto_vincenzo@threejs If the waves are updated on the CPU every frame, moving them into the vertex shader (just a time uniform) and instancing the splashes usually wins back a lot. The draw call count in the renderer's info object is a good first thing to check. The diorama look is lovely.
Every object on this farm is built by code when the page loads. No model files, just recipes turned into geometry: the barn, the windmill, the sheep, the cracked Moon.
It runs in a browser tab.
Every coin that ever went to the moon is still up there. The Moon got heavy, cracked, and now its dust falls on a valley where people farm it.
That's our game. It runs in a browser tab, free until level 6. This is what the valley looks like when it fills up.
This is what the Valley looks like at fifty farms.
Tonight, two hours in: about 57 new farmers from 23 countries. We're close.
Your island is the glowing one.
