Mark found fame as the lead Rapper of #Got7, one of the most successful K-Pop Groups of the Era! He has one amazing voice and is a real musician, able to play the guitar, violin and piano! He is also an amazing composer & songwriter, credited for writing 20 Got7 songs and composing 8. On January 16, 2014, Mark officially debuted as a part of Got7 with the EP 'Got It' & wrote the lyrics to "Back To Me" from Got7's 2015 EP 'Just Right'. He also wrote 5 out of 13 songs from their 2016 album 'Flight Log: Turbulence'. Mark released his first Korean solo song "OMW" ft. GOT7's #JacksonWang with an accompanying MV on September 13, 2018!
Mark began his career as a model on Dazed Korea in May 2017, and appeared on over 21 magazines covers for Calvin Klein, Yves St Laurent and several other top designers. He has also released two limited edition apparel collections with Represent in 2018 and 2019 titled XCIII, and a 3rd named XC3 in 2021. The 2nd collection, XCIII Evolution, sold more than 35,000 items with all the profits donated to 'Save the Children'. Tuan soon conquered the Chinese market and was in hot demand for top photoshoots and interviews. In January 2019, he made his star debut on Chinese TV on the variety show 'Change Your Life'! In 2019, Tuan won the Hot Star prize at the Weibo Starlight Awards in Hong Kong and toured China in fan meetings called "On Your Mark", signing his first photobook, Mark Yixia! On January 11, 2020, Mark released his first Chinese single, "Outta My Head" followed by "Never Told You". That same year, Mark appeared on 8 episodes of Huya Super Idol League Season 10 as "Gamer Mark".
In January 2021, Mark ended his contract with JYP Entertainment and opened his own company and label, DNA Records, releasing the single "One in a Million", a collab with #SanjoyDeb. Mark exec produced the MV for Got7's amazing comeback song "Encore", released on February 20, 2021 which topped the Worldwide iTunes song chart. Mark then signed with Creative Artists Agency and released "Never Gonna Come Down" with Bibi for the movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and on November 12, 2021, he released his amazing digital single "Last Breath"! In 2022 he dropped several songs including "My Life", "Lonely", "Save Me" & "IMYSM" from his first studio album 'The Other Side', released on August 26, 2022 together with the music video of the title track "Far Away"! Mark wrote and composed all 20 songs on the album which highlighted his amazing voice and Rap. In October and November 2022, Mark embarked on his first solo tour, performing in 15 cities across North America followed by an Asian leg which kicked off in Bangkok and Khon Kaen in April 2023. On March 31, 2023, he released "Carry Me Out", "Everyone Else Fades" and "Your World" which featured on Mark's digital EP Fallin', released on October 27 2023!
In 2019, Mark was named brand ambassador for #Vivo in Thailand with BamBam and brand ambassador for #Davines China and #Mentholatum in 2020! In August 2020, he became the brand ambassador for China telecommunications #Unicom! On June 2, 2021, he became the ambassador for #Sisley's Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream, and on June 16, he became the 1st Artist to collaborate with #Anessa for a limited edition, Artist Box. Mark is Fashion Icon and causes a media stir each time he attends Paris Fashion week! He is also an active philanthropist, and In March 2019, he starred on the cover of the 200th issue of the Korean charity magazine 'The Big Issue', providing support for the homeless. He also donated proceeds from his clothing line with Represent and his 2nd single, "Never Told You" which was released in collaboration with the China Children's Charity Relief Foundation. In February 2020, he funded ventilators for the COVID-19 pandemic in Hubei, China & donated $7,000 to the George Floyd Memorial Fund and the Black Lives Matter movement in the US. In November 2020, he donated $1,500 to the victims of Typhoon Ulysses, and in April 2021, he donated $30,000 to Stop AAPI Hate.
