and on PLLIsโ birthdayโฆ another astronomical event is happening!
the evening of June 19, a beautiful celestial grouping will be visible in the night sky featuring a waxing crescent Moon, the planet Venus, and Regulus, which is the brightest star in the constellation Leo the Lion.
Guess who is PLAVEโs โVenusโ ๐คญ
and Regulus (the heart of the lion) is serves as the โdotโ on the backward โquestion markโ (which reminded me of hm) called The Sickle asterism, and guess who has a โsickleโ, too?
From a Hongdae busking session to Incheon Munhak Stadium...
This is a little bit sentimental, but... they started with a glitchy stream and a dream, and three years later, they're forcing the entire K-pop industry to look up at them on a 50-foot LED stadium screen :)
Who can forget those early days when it was just Yejun and Noah singing to a handful of staff and passersby on a street monitor? They poured their absolute hearts into that small screen like it was the biggest stage in the world.
Now the stage has finally caught up to them.
Seeing the five of them hold onto this shared vision when so many people were quick to dismiss them... it hits hard.
They didn't just sit around waiting for a miracle.
They danced until they dropped, sang until their voices gave out, and built it themselves.
To go from fighting just to be seen as "real" idols, to standing together in a 50,000-seat stadium under the open sky is... the kind of underdog story you'd roll your eyes at in a movie script for being too unrealistic.
So, so proud of them.
We made it, guys. We really made it.
