I've spent the last 12 hours scrambling on-chains metrics with @babsyyyyyyyy for coins that launched during May/April. Here's what we found👇👀

Why April/May, 2023?
Well it was an interesting period in the "bear" market where $PEPE hit 1.6bil mcap, which consequently lead to one of the craziest meme coin seasons. This meant we had a lot of good launches, many of which are still alive.

I have added in quite a few low cap plays lower down for those who feel like taking on a gamble.

So let's begin 🕵️‍♀️

"High" caps:

$BOB - 20.5mil mcap - ATH 134mil - April coin - Extremely successful meme coin, active community - 24HR gain +95%

$WOJAK - 23.7mil mcap - ATH 72mil - April coin - Very cultural and active community - 24HR gain +32%

$TURBO - 40mil mcap - ATH 440mil - May coin - "first" meme coin to be generated Ai (although I argue $KIBSHI is the OG)) - had a great run back in may, active community/team - 24HR gain +37%

$MOG - 19mil mcap - ATH 41mil - June coin - extremely active community and team - 24HR gain +18%

$WASSIE - 3.3mil mcap - 25mil - May coin - we all know that the wassies have an extremely strong community and team. Chart is making a strong comeback the last 7 days- 24HR gain -9%

$POOH - 3.4mil mcap - ATH 81mil - May Coin - this had a parabloc rune back in May too - Very active community and team - liq burnt - 24HR gain +53%

$BOBO - 4.38mil mcap - 23mil - May coin - again great run back in may. Active community and team - liquidity burnt - 24HR gain +20%

$4CHAN - 3.7mil mcap - ATH 32.8mil - May coin - solid 4chan coin that launched back in May. Great community and active team - 24HR gain +20%

Micro/Low caps 🤑:

$RIBBIT - 740k - ATH 39mil - May coin - Had a very good run back in May, active community - unsure about the liquidity on this one - 24HR gain +67%

$LAMBO - 700k mcap - ATH 17.8mil - May coin - One of my favourites out of all of them. Priceless OG meme with good pumpamentals, active community - liquidity burnt - 24HR gain +126%.

$WSB (the baby one) - 1.26mil - ATH 65mil - April coin - had a huge run back in April and I remember the big war between the $WSB coins. This community won in the end - fat liquidity - 24HR gain +150%

$KEKE - 1.2mil mcap - ATH 26mil - May coin - good meme coin, active community and very active team - Liq burnt - 24HR gain +24%.

$WOJAK2.0 - 244k mcap - ATH 1mil - June coin - if $WOJAK runs hard, this will run hard too - active community and team - 24HR gain +47%

$APED - 450k mcap - ATH 13mil - April coin - weird one, not the most active community/team but still pumping - liq burnt - 24HR gain +60%

$MEMEME - 700k mcap - ATH 10.4mil - April coin - not very active community or team but its still unbelievably pumping, I unfortunately faded this one - 24HR gain +180%

There are obviously many more projects out there that launched during this period. However, these are just some of the plays that I have found and that have a decent chart and/or community.

Conclusion❓

We are seeing A LOT of old May/April coins with bottomed charts coming back to life. Could this be sparking a new meta? Maybe.

Could some of these me the strong runners for the upcoming Bull run? Very likely in my opinion💡
