NeoForge Modtoberfest Sticker

Commissioned by NeoForge developers depicting the NeoForge fox mascot as a sticker to be delivered to participants of the Modtoberfest. It was a blast playing around with the cel-shaded look using the lasso fill tool.

A pixel art landscape work based on a reference. I made it in honor of one of my modded SMPs which started on a mountain range.

Made from scratch, drawn from 2D concept art and polygon modeled, sculpted, retopologized, UV mapped, baked meshes, and painted in a combination of 3D software.

I've decided to try painting her, bit plain choice of clothes at the moment but hey its my first color painting. I think I did an okay job. I made a story around her in my tumblr. And thankfully this counts towards my grade in Color Theory over in my Instagram. Follow those too!

Comparing it to this, a similar type of canvas filling sketch that I did way back in 2021, I feel a sense of accomplishment seeing the improvement. I hope my journey as an artist continues to improve and I get to really express myself and break out of my shell.

Week 2 of me forcing myself to paint every week to get better at digitally painting. This is a study on a photograph on Pinterest, the model is off a bit but I think I got the lighting values accurately.
