My GSD has the same. He was given 6 months but that has been a year ago and he is still full of energy. I cook fresh green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, and red bell peppers in a pressure cooker. Then mix it on a bed of white rice for each evening meal. He takes Azodyl, I sprinkle Epakitin powder on his food along with fish oil. I add fresh strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries. In the morning, I give him 1 can of the kidney diet food for the protein.

Isn't that a 74 brown Chevy Nova in the driveway? That was the exact first car my grandfather gave me when I turned 14 years old. We had a designated smoking area in high school for ages 16 and up. You needed a permission slip signed by a parent unless you were 18. I forged my parent's signature at 14 years old. The principal laughed and approved it because he knew I was going to keep smoking in the bathroom if he didn't. That was 1978.
