We currently have two red dice and four white ones in our Probability Prize Box. Students finishing work and listening well get a shot at a prize! The odds will keep going up the closer to summer that we get! @CopperHillES@FlemRarSchools
Today in math we used a bug spinner to talk about which bug we were most likely to land on. This led to a discussion about probability and chance! @FlemRarSchools@CopperHillES
Today we continued to practice having a daily “Wrap Up” after our quiet reading time. Students shared their connections and predictions if they read fiction, or they shared any text features they found while reading nonfiction! @CopperHillES@FlemRarSchools
Today we were so lucky to meet author Audrey Vernick. We learned how to come up with and “store” ideas by simply listening to the events happening around you! @CopperHillES@FlemRarSchools
