"Believing" is the wrong word. He created the universe both with its own creative power (in response to HIs Word) and then subjected it to futility in this realm, He had to pull back on that futility just enough for our nature to do what it did. About the best it could do, unaided, was the Ediacara. Creation needs God's help to do God's will, and creation in small enough steps looks just like evolution.

The passage you are vaguely referencing completely out of context is referring to Christ's role as a High Priest. That isn't all He is, that is one thing He is. Reading just the verse before and verse after shows that He is human but also more than human

If you want a God that is easy for tiny human minds to understand, then you want a false God.
If you want a god that can be completely described in one sentence, then you want a false god.

Too bad. The real One is bigger than you. He is more complicated than you can grasp. He can be three Persons united in One Holy Nature. He can be God, and He can be Man.

We should expect the actual Creator of the cosmos to be complicated.
