In April, we shared how our Property Maintenance Department implemented industry feedback by creating an apartment buildout inside a classroom — Now, take a look at how this student-led project has evolved. Real skills. Real training. Real impact.
Industrial Electricity and Plant Maintenance Department Lead Kyle Colby works alongside a student as they test a switch—just one example of the real-world training happening every day at Moore Tech.
Success that still speaks volumes
In April, these students achieved a 100% pass rate on the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credential—a testament to their skill, focus, and dedication.
Shoutout to our Air Conditioning students, led by Department Head Terrance Conner, for performing preventative maintenance on AC units across all Moore Tech campuses. Their work is keeping us cool this summer while giving students the hands-on experience they need.
