I used to think I could catch up to the cracked engineers I looked up to but with agents it seems a lot more unreachable
They produce more -> more mistakes -> more learning -> more improvement
I'm still 1-2 agent andy so feels further way while they're improving faster
@Jilles yeah or just have neovim spawn a pi when i submit
not sure if there’s a herdr cli command to open a new tab or pane and have it start pi and pipe in the comments
I can raise PRs if you’re open to contributions but it’ll be a big ux change
@Jilles I meant a lot more config through the plugin setup instead of .pi/nvim-review-template.md eg default mode when opening an annotate, disabling esc to close,
Would rather it be a normal buffer and :wq to save and close it and empty to cancel
@Jilles had a nice flow going where I open lazy git -> open changed file -> start bridge -> annotate
thanks for this, doing big refactors so sticking to codex for now but in my personal coding I'm still working on my pi setup and flow
@Jilles after a couple days use
1. the bridge is really annoying, need to either have pi launch nvim with it connected or when I submit in nvim it should launch pi agent with the annotations
2. qol: have keybindings + prompt configuration in the nvim plugin setup
@icanvardar keep starting adversarial agents until the first one is done 😂
I would prefer speed over intelligence now though
I've started to use pi just so I could swap out gpt models for deepseek v4 flash easily
@RhysSullivan@bot so should I sign up for cursor to use it or will something better come out soon? I mean cc did hold for almost a year before codex/pi/other harnesses were better
i feel really bad for suggesting claude code to my friend but in my defence this was at the start of the year and got 5.3 was barely a thing.. it’s all codex now and i’m trying to convince him to move his company to codex/cursor
@GergelyOrosz I get v0 designs but all of our theming (tailwind) isn't in v0 projects so we still have to do some back and forth to get it exact.
Also the designs aren't from a designer but someone from marketing who's taken on more responsibility, hence back and forth
