@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 Seriously though. Read this. This is the most succinct explanation of what the debate really is about. Because it’s not the possibility of passing. That’s not in question. https://t.co/eRz1KP0jSw
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 The second is a GNC trans man. The first is another GNC trans woman. We exist. Look specifically for trans women in general not GNC trans people….
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 Maybe try being less of a bitter self hating transmedicalist and accept the fact that you’re a trans woman at every point in your medical transition.
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 Bearded women were called freaks
They did not get the nice picture perfect childhood as a girl that you’re thinking of.
Black women are often considered masculine and ugly for not fitting Eurocentric feminine beauty standards.
Trans women ARE women. Gender and sex are different
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 It’s not nearly all. You have provided absolutely no evidence to that being the case. If you don’t care about your validity why do you care about passing being a “hotly debated topic”?
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 Commission trans artists if you want to see more art of trans people in general. The “outliers” I gave you was three pieces I found in under 5 minutes. There is only the one image that has been presented that depicts a GNC trans woman and yet you see it’s all the time. Sure bud.
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 You’ve been saying that the stereotype is negative representation and a subject worthy of derision because it doesn’t represent the majority. I’m upset about that because I read that as including me personally for “looking like the stereotype.”
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 But we’re not. And it pains me to see my trans siblings accuse me of “not being trans enough” for being myself. Cis people already hate us for existing. That hurts. Other trans people hating me because I exist in a way they don’t like either is a much greater pain.
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 That’s not what I’m trying to say. I understand where you’re coming from now-and I would never and have never said that being trans is easy. I too experience the sadness, pain, and anger that comes with being trans in a transphobic world. It would be so much easier to be cis.
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 “Not a single person to teach me anything” you need community. Go to queer spaces. Ask the women in your life for help, both cis and trans. You don’t have to suffer silently. It’s okay to ask for help.
@ProotGen79981@STELpt2 A black woman is different from a white woman is different from an Asian woman is different from an Autistic woman is different from a NT woman is different from a bearded woman is different from a woman with alopecia is different from a trans woman is different from a cis woman.
This one is great for trans women but it makes me feel like shit as a trans guy with actual huge hips like the original.
I really think having visibility would help me a lot. 🤷🏻
