First Thornberry. Now this one.
They know a reckoning is coming, and they're scrambling to save themselves. But the archives don't forget - and they don't lie.
1/This video was taken in Nov. 2023, when Robbie Keane was manager of Maccabi Tel Aviv. Its first team is being shown a video of soldiers (staff) firing rockets during a genocide against Palestinians as a motivational exercise. They applaud it.

She slept well for over 960 days of genocide which she directly aided. I’ll never forget this performance of hers. The disdain she had for anyone questioning the disgusting, genocidal policies of her rotten party
They can’t “some mistakes were made” their way out of this
Emily Thornberry has today said the government has let down the Palestinian people, and allowed Israel to act with impunity.
The audacity.
Here she is in October 2023 refusing to condemn Israel cutting off power and supplies to Gaza.
Don’t let these people rewrite history.

It’s begun: The Great Rewriting of History by the politicians, journalists, media commentators who stayed quiet over Gaza to keep climbing the greasy pole - while a handful of us who spoke-up were smeared, abused, or fired.
As @Hamza_a96 says, don’t let them do it:
Some obvious picks but if Morrissey became a god (like he probably wants to) & somehow was going to delete all Smiths tunes except for 5, this would probably be my list
How Soon is Now is just an unbelievable song musically and lyrically that we maybe take a bit for granted now
@DeclanHyland I know. It’s ridiculously hard. I’d feel the same about Morrissey’s solo stuff. As much as I hate him as a person I love what he did with The Smiths and his solo stuff. But there’s obviously 100 times more shite he’s put out solo. Especially the recent stuff. Jesus
@RivalDealer26@DeclanHyland Cemetery Gates narrowly missed me top 5. “A dreaded sunny day” is how I felt during the Summer as a teenager. “Die in the Summertime” by MSP was also a personal gloomy anthem.
Brian De Palma initially sent Bob Hoskins the script of "The Untouchables" (1987) with the intention to cast him for the part of Al Capone. When Hoskins met De Palma at an Hotel, De Palma said, "really I want Robert De Niro to play him". Hoskins thought, "well great what am I doing here?". De Palma then said "but if he don’t do it, would you sort of step in?" and Hoskins said "yeah of course I will."
Months went by with no communication between the two. Hoskins used to check the papers to see what project De Niro was signing up for. Over time, he forgot everything about it. One day, he received a cheque for £20,000 in the mail with a note saying, "Thanks for you time Bob, love Brian."
Immediately Hoskins phoned De Palma and said, "Brian, if you’ve ever got any films you don’t want me in son, you just give me a call!”

P.S: On this day, 39 years ago, "The Untouchables" (1987) premiered in New York City, USA.
Betore Rome, there was Carthage. Before Carthage, there was Tyre.
Israel is currently demolishing Tyre—a city more than 5,000 years old and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

That’s right, there’ll be Nothing said for this match either
Dear politics, stay the fuck out of sport because you are about as sincere as an Irish government saying the USC is going to be a temporary tax on the people of Ireland
Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
