My impression of that paradox is they're making a Freudian slip intending to present that way to gaslight "racists" in belief that's people who treat other racial distinctions badly, without realising racism is making racial distinctions. They're the ones being racist by taking that position as anti-racists, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy and they're the only ones causing the problem.
Note race is a (17c) speciation theory of classes of intelligence, and it is unrelated to ethnicity or culture but is by ancestral relationship to ancient and classical civilisations. But if you believe it there is no distinction with ethnicities or cultures as they are, incidentally, racially grouped hence the terms are virtually interchangeable.
But if you are conscious of the falsification of Racial Theory you do make the distinction between race, culture and ethnicity, or religion and other identity grouping because they are not incidentally grouped racially, but are completely unrelated social groupings, in the case of behavioural and identity absolutely not valid anthropological groupings in the first place, whilst race is just a falsified Creationist belief from the 17th century.
It should never be understated that racially grouping correctly describes racism, or to impose Racial Theory, or speciation of modern human groups by classes of intelligence, the sole function of racial distinctions.
The Left says it is anti-racist because their working premise is that race is a fact and disadvantaging any is racism, so they refer to their DEI policies as anti-racist and opposition to this moral authority is racist. But their math is faulty, they're making a racial conspiracy theory of systemic oppression, based upon a premise of established racial classes constituting modern humans, and those who don't believe in races therefore cannot be anti-racist and are thus, racists. However you must necessarily be a racist to be what they refer to as anti-racist.
You see the problem here? With the push back I mean.
You can't just point out that they're the ones being racist whilst conceding Racial Theory, or speciation of humans by racial class and imposition of which by institution (law and policy) is the act of historical racism.
You have to make the distinction clear to them between race, a speciation theory, and ethnicity or culture, which are incidental to racial groupings.
Leftist governments do not make this distinction and in fact contradict it, and that is how they're getting away with legislation and policy of racial distinctions, veiled in pillows of conflated terminology to persist the very thing they claim to oppose.
Thus, the moral authority becomes a legal and governing authority, like magic. Hate crimes, literally witchcraft offences reintroduced with the moral authority of conflating the word race with unrelated terms.
Crafty power mongering, really. Infantile yet works.
@kelly_ques Serious answer, people who judge others based upon what they assume about them rather than anything they've actually done. It's the narcissism of inventing reality like being your own God and then believing it. Annoys me even when not directed at me.
@carletonjtysick@Oceanbreeze473 Oh yeah I prefer not to mess with anybody if I can help it, I mean you can't stop people determined to have a problem with you but it's not like any of us run around hoping for that result. People are way too into escalating mundane social conflicts these days, it's over the top.
@Oceanbreeze473 He likes to be called Sensei. I mean literally nobody calls him Sensei and yet whenever he relates a personal story in an interview everybody is referring to him as Sensei in the story, so I assume he likes to be called Sensei, and interviews are his shot at making it a thing.
@Pixie1z The vast majority of all Muslim ethnic groups are racially Caucasian, basically all of them except African ones.
The only racial group exclusively white skinned is Inuit.
Why doesn't he like Inuit? What have Eskimos ever done to him?
@meshygrey The political Left, forever living in Bizarro World where up is down and everything is back to front.
Labor policy is the extremist minority of Australian sentiments; it's also criminal acts of government such as dismissing citizen rights legalised only by exploitable corruption.
@ClownWorld This is why our national minimum wages regulation came up with the special category "youth wages", specifically for things like food service at Mc Donalds. It's less than adult wages categories for each industry, obviously.
The question is if expecting adult service, why Maccas?
The most concise definition of racism has come from Labor Parties and Social Democrats, the governments which literally have racial policies in authoritarian parliamentary systems. It's as close to Nazism as you can get without a Hitler up front, in fact the Deutsche Arbeiterpartei component of the NSDAP literally means the German Labor Party.
Racism means to impose historical anthropological Racial Theory, or the belief in speciation by racial classes of intelligence among modern human groups.
As a science it was long since falsified first by Darwinism, but reinvented itself with Eugenics, and then finally by the Genome Project which proved the speciation theory essential to an assertion of distinct racial groupings is complete fiction.
In the meantime during the intermediate 20th century it was always controversial with academia split among those promoting classical ideals of racial classes whether in support of or conflict with "white supremacy" is in both cases, classical racism, and peer review asserting confirmation bias in racial distinctions and genetic adaptation hypotheses, essentially "neo-eugenics" a form of scientific racism.
Despite the sound falsification of race obviously it's still entirely too socially popular to disappear, the US and many other governing authorities continue to assert modernisation of racial groupings by conflating the word with terms like ethnicity and culture, which is completely erroneous.
Racial Theory and the correct definition of Race in its actual form can be looked up in any 19th century anthropology publication in all well stocked public libraries and read in its glorious detail. Racial groupings are completely unrelated to skin colour or appearance and ethnicity is entirely incidental to racial groupings. They are defined by ancestral relationship to progenitor populations of ancient and classical civilisations, the basis of the entire hypothesis of human racial groupings is classes of group intelligence based upon relationship to the divine spark of civilisation. It's a creationist theory from the 17th century when Noah's Ark was science not religion.
Asian is not a Race. Black is not a Race. White is not a Race. Caucasian does not mean white European, that's Slavic which is in fact an Untermensch, a lesser race. Caucasian means descendant of civilisation and includes all skin colours and numerous ethnicities of west and northern Europe, the Mediterranean basin, and near, central and subcontinental Asia.
Some Asians are Caucasian. Some black people are Caucasian. Some Caucasian ethnicities have olive complexion, what is referred to as "brown skin" in stupid Americanisation of "race".
And since most people have no idea what the fuck race even means, correctly obviously they have no fucking idea what the fuck racism actually is, correctly.
They conflate social offences with it, which are completely unrelated and totally mundane. Racism is not calling someone names, that's tribalism and mundane social behaviour. Just say sticks and stones, problem solved and look, no criminal damages after all. No, racism is an institutional phenomenon, it's where your government says this person has different legal rights to that person, because of "race".
That's a Democrat/Labor Party platform these days.
@BlondeBigot11 Wait until they start some shit up with the Chinese community.
Idiot Labour doesn't get multiculturalism functionally means multiple ethnic conflicts. You import it, you import it all. Import Islam, import Middle East blood feuds. Import India, import their regional disputes. ๐
@ClownWorld I see it as the peaceful jihad of the moderate Muslims, making an arse of yourself to show social domination as opposed to the violent jihad of the extremists which is what goes without saying as we all know what that is.
In other words same shit different bucket. Doesn't belong.
Government by public representation is what Republicanism means, the alternative to contemporary Monarchism, in fact oligarchy of parliamentary rule and revolutionary socialism, collectivist Marxism calling itself direct democracy as opposed to Republicanism's representative one. Functionally collectivist socialism or "direct democracy" means mob rule as was discovered in Russia with the Bolsheviks (literally majority rule in Russian), which proved direct democracy doesn't work in practice because authorities with effectively unlimited power and no top down control simply become roving bands of brigands murdering anybody they don't like the look of, destroying infrastructure and stealing everything in sight with their police badges. As this was the legacy of majority rule or direct democracy Stalin effectively cancelled the Bolshevik revolution and in a highly controversial move replaced Bolshevism with the Soviet State, placing state controlled unions and committees in charge of everything to represent the interests of the collective rather than have the people rule collectively because the average person well, they're just not up to it.
As for the word democracy itself, it never meant majority rule as is misrepresented by Marxists and in the Athenian context of its origin in fact means divided rule, as opposed to autocratic rule of other city states. In modern language it simply means any governing system which appoints offices by an electoral system.
Note that whilst all Athenian citizens had the right to vote, the majority of Athenian population did not qualify for citizenship, it was an exclusive and restricted form of residency which more resembles becoming a member of parliament than being a regular working class Joe in a modern comparison. That's how they maintained a functioning government without descending into a mob rule, which a "direct democracy" necessarily becomes.
So, basically, "representative democracy" is what Republicanism means, "direct democracy" is functionally mob rule but also the false claim of utopia by collectivist socialism, Marxists or communism, and democracy itself simply means any system of government which employs a genuine electoral system, which is why socialism, an authoritarian structure is never in fact a democracy, for one thing it immediately abolishes government by election for a totalitarian state, claiming decisions are made by vote when we all know how that really works.
Under legal guidelines a Sikh cannot carry it for the purpose of self-defence but only for religious reasons, however if in a self-defence situation you may use an improvised weapon being any item readily at hand.
Can't carry for defence but may use.
Our laws are fucking stupid because there's no establishment of inalienable common citizen rights. Just authorities of what you can do and when you can, instructions and decrees which are not rights, and therefore which isn't capable of producing a sensible criminal justice system. It doesn't recognise anything but authority. Everything about our laws are talking down, never lifting up, when they try to lift up here they do it by talking down there. Authoritarianism doesn't work and that's what the Left refer to as "our democracy".
A big reason why they get away with it is apparently nobody has the linguistic education standards anymore to articulate what is morally wrong about it.
Interfering with driver operation of a vehicle.
They gaslight us and call it "driver assist".
How does it assist the driver? By interfering in their operation of the vehicle.
The protest wins the courts, car company loses.
BUT.
When they say hey it's "driver assist".
And you say, you can't do that it's forced compliance.
How does it force compliance? When sensors read a dangerous situation and force a safety procedure.
They win the courts, protest loses.
If you can't articulate the problem in a legal context the first thing you sound like is a conspiracy theorist flat earther and throw the case because it sounds to legislators like they have the more rational argument and legislators are often idiots who just want to believe they chose right. They are very much subject to influence.
It's not about forced compliance. It's a computer not a political agitator. It's about an idiot computer grabbing the wheel while you're trying to drive and establishing that SAFE driving is in fact HUMAN OPERATOR IN CHARGE of all driver inputs. It's not an automated system overriding the operator's control of the vehicle. That's how kids get run over because the sensor input matched the database of a light refraction not a pedestrian.
When you have to move partially assembled new cars around a workshop you see just how much all those modern features screw with everything when they don't know what's going on, not like you can explain it to them like a person and that's why they cannot be in charge of anything without a human override, not the other way around. That's Bizarro World.
It's one of three major things Elon Musk is completely wrong and completely ridiculous about.
@TheAliceSmith Following the existing playbook of course they'll simply declare a climate emergency or a new pandemic spread to justify it. Last time they did everything short of gassing the Jews and everybody just took it. That was the litmus test, the dressed rehearsal. We lost.
The software is under licence and leased, being proprietary can't be purchased, correct equipment is expensive or also leased, the manufacturer maintains an e-network server as a centralised database on servicing done for each VIN and of course work hrs are another cost overhead.
Some shops in the UK started itemising the diagnostic and troubleshooting fee separately, typically ยฃ150 which is addition to the labour charge of the mandatory service and safety check which yes are billable hours of actual work and not just kicking the tyres and parts/fitment fees, because customers kept making the complaint you have, which comes from not really understanding what's actually involved and its overhead costs to the shop which, don't forget is in business to make money, not pay overheads and do everything for free except parts costs. It's a facepalm in the industry.
No, it isn't a PC on four wheels. They're actually a lot more involved and require a lot more from service mechanics than cars used to. They would be a hundred times worse without ECU diagnostics, but they aren't easier as a base for the tech advancement, they're far more complicated and involved.
@MissThorn_ You're really onto something there, a two Party system creates a false dichotomy of extreme positions on every major issue, which cannot result in solutions to any. It's this paradox I think which blurs both into the same ineptitude for functional results on behalf of the People.
