The Tartan Army are a credit to Scotland. Here they are in full voice singing ‘Loch Lomond’ in Boston Stadium last night for the World Cup match between Scotland and Haiti. Absolutely glorious.
The Royal Opera Chorus stopped everyone in their tracks at Covent Garden today with an unannounced performance of Nessun Dorma to mark the start of the World Cup 2026

Oh my goodness, I am absolutely melting and laughing so hard, I just love them! 😭❤️ Everybody stop what you're doing because this is the sweetest and funniest thing you'll see today! Their Majesties the King and Queen arrived at Odinskolen school, and the kids gave them the most incredible welcome by singing "Katzenjammer Rock"! 🎸🐾 The absolute best part? Frederik was so thrilled, singing along at the top of his lungs because he knew the lyrics by heart, while our gorgeous Queen Mary joined in on the fun, showing her claws alongside the little ones! They are so incredibly warm, sweet, and genuine. You can truly see how much they love being around kids. I am so obsessed with them! 👑🦁🎶
