Morana's Makers

STEM educator at IS34 in SI NY. STEM isn't about teaching students science or math! It's about gifting them w/ the courage and enthusiasm to explore the world.

@moby_dickhead Subway line and/or housing ventilation may be causing resonant frequencies in your space. Look up the academic paper: Ghost in the Machine.

@idk_ashleyy @moby_dickhead I think he's got left and right mixed up in the comment.

The #MarioBros #nintendo #arcade is complete! It came out great! Time for some 2P action! If you'd like one, DM @MoranasMakers for inquiries

@MissGoffredo @IS34 Applied yesterday for a STEAM educator position with @the_leonardo - a really cool museum in salt lake city. Keeping my fingers crossed.

[Morana's Makers @MoranasMakers]

@MissGoffredo @IS34 With remorse, yes 😔

[Morana's Makers @MoranasMakers]

Fortunately, @RussosRoom says I can #livefeed STEMShop lessons to his Ss in class from time to time. Once an educator always an educator. 🍎🤓 https://t.co/8YplPlikw9

[Mr. Russo @RussosRoom]

Inspection test of the #catapult that the @IS34 UAU #STEM students #handmade under @MoranasMakers guidance. Time for our Ss to launch some 🍉

[Morana's Makers @MoranasMakers]

In 7 weeks I'll be a Utahn. I ❤ my job @IS34. Its #bittersweet to leave my Ss & the #Maker culture I cultivated for its STEM program. https://t.co/OFDcYQkIVo

[Mr. Russo @RussosRoom]

Finished #building a pegboard for the new tools in our #STEM #makerspace! Cant wait for next year to incorporate my new curriculum, STEMShop

[Mr. Russo @RussosRoom]

Our @IS34 #SoapBoxDerbySI team did our practice runs! They were straight as an arrow! @SIBFSC @NYCSchools #SOAR🦅#JustAnotherGreatDayAtIS34

[Mr. Russo @RussosRoom]

Congrats to the entire @IS34 #SoapBoxDerbySI team on our victory today! You all did an amazing job! #JustAnotherGreatDayAtIS34 @SIBFSC

[Mr. Russo @RussosRoom]

Doing touch ups & fixing the race cars at #SoapBoxDerbySI w/ @MoranasMakers & @LisaWeber327! It's an @IS34 effort to get this line moving!

[Mr. Russo @RussosRoom]

Waiting & need to get the line moving so @IS34 own @MoranasMakers stepping it up & grinding the cars for the competing #SoapBoxDerbySI teams

@ericabuddington @blackvoices Jacks and Jills of all trades need this. We are very misunderstood and it makes us feel alone. Reading this relieves a little pressure! TY!!

@VRlead I often refer to Piaget's development theory on spatial reasoning. The Vive belongs in *middle* school STEM rooms with 3D printers and CNCs

[Morana's Makers @MoranasMakers]

@VRlead The Vive is a medium through which we can hone the skill of spatial reasoning which is vital for students w/ aspirations in STEM disciplines
