I think this is the whole reason they put them into hotels. Once their asylum claim is approved they get an eviction notice from the hotel. They then go to the top of the housing list as "unintentionally homeless" and get housed before everyone (Brits) else. I think the whole admin in the UK is setup to intentionally give these outcomes in all areas. Refugees first, Brits second.

@VictoriaHa50399 Search on amazon for "butter bell" there are loads there. The ceramic ones are best. Stops the butter going off with the airtight seal the water makes. As long as it's not 30c everyday! Room temperature is fine for a week in the bell.
