@jstewartIndy It's a dynamic situation to provide relief based on a supply chain disruption, not normal conditions. IMO it is logical to extend the emergency relief if the emergency extends.
They'll put on a cowboy hat and an American flag when running for office in America but won't name their kids "Chase" or "Todd" just Muhammad bin Muhammad Jihad al Salid Muhammad
The bizarre responses to this post are illustrative of the point Mystery Grove made in his post yesterday, which I will promote since he's clearly so disgusted with this site that he didn't even bother reactivating his account to shill it. "Always chimp" is stupid and has led the online right into a state of irrational emotive pessimism that makes them impotent at best and counterproductive at worst. He singles out notorious tr00ners like Auron MacIntyre as examples, but the problem goes beyond one or two podcasters.
To mildly push back on MG, I think "always chimp" started as a joke, but low-IQ people got a hold of it and took it literally, like they always do whenever they learn about a concept they don't have the intelligence to grasp. "Always chimp" as code for "apply positive pressure to politicians" was a good idea. Instead, the online right and podcaster class have interpreted it as being continuously unhappy to the point of lying to yourself and other about Trump's successes and being unable to engage in the productive activity of politics. If you "always chimped" in your personal life every time things didn't go your way, you would be unemployable, friendless, and living in a cardboard box.
One of the examples MG uses is immigration discourse. We've all seen it: someone will post about an amazing achievement of the Trump administration in deporting people or restricting legal immigration, and a chorus of anklebiters will appear in the replies screaming "IT'S NOT ENOUGH." Or they'll lie that immigration hasn't decreased because whatever blue state slum they live in is now a sanctuary hub for browns. Or they'll accuse you of "sucking Trump's dick." This isn't even a glass half-full/half-empty situation. The Retard Right will look at a glass being refilled and insist that not only is the glass empty, but Indians have stolen the copper pipes so there's no hope of getting more water, then call you a RAPED ZIOSLAVE if you refuse to disbelieve reality. This is the "always chimp" mindset; being so angry over grievances both real and imagined that your personality disintegrates.
I bring up this post of mine from yesterday because it displays the end state of "always chimp." I reported on how Republican super PACs intentionally astroturfed the gubernatorial campaign of DSA darling Francesca Hong to ensure that Democrats nominated the weakest possible candidate for the general election and how they've been similarly boosting DSA candidates across the country to get the Democrats to lose winnable races. Half the replies I got were along the lines of "I wish Republicans were smart enough to actually do this" even though THE POST I LINKED SHOWED THAT THEY WERE ACTUALLY DOING IT. I wasn't talking about it as a theoretical, but something that is actually going on. One guy replied "So the GOP could confirm judges, pass the SAVE ACT, or crack down on the 3rd Worldification of America...Instead they decide to fund their enemies in some gay op that will likely blow up in their faces." Super PACs do not have the power to confirm judges, pass legislation, or enforce immigration law, which IS being enforced to a degree not seen in America since the 50s. These are all people who get unequivocally good news and somehow, I don't know how, find a way to spin it as bad. You are all mentally ill.
At least some of this is intentionally stoked by influencers who fear waning relevance in a world in which they can no longer complain about the left. Pretty much all the top Retard Right podcasters and streamers are seeing their viewership decline. Much like how Pro-Life Inc. never actually wanted Roe overturned, the "chimps" don't want Trump to succeed because it would hurt their stock portfolios. But I think a lot of you niggas are clinically mentally disabled. You have gone beyond being pessimists to being actively harmful to the things you claim to want. The monetization structure of this site incentivizes this behavior, which is why X is dying, nobody important pays attention to this site anymore, and why so many smart people (like MG himself) have left. Hopefully the new monetization framework at least stops the bleeding.
I agree with MG that most of the online right is worthless and should be considered as bad as the left. There is no rational reason to be crying "TRUMP FAILED" in the face of evidence to the contrary, and there's REALLY no reason to be doing it in an election year unless your goal is getting the Democrats back into power. I am a Republican. I will not do anything that will make Republicans lose. My Goldwater- and Reagan-loving grandpa, who voted a straight Republican ticket from the 50s forward no matter who they nominated, was smarter than all of you retards.
Hell is other posters.
I want to stress: It doesn’t matter why people do these things. What matters is stopping the damage that it’s doing. People are chimping all the time, about anything and everything, even when it makes no sense at all and it’s actively harmful, and this behavior infects more and more people every day. It is a never-ending and self-reinforcing demoralization campaign….
….We are going to have to solve our problems in the real world. The system that we live under is not fake however convenient that might be. We need our people to participate in it if we want to have any hope of success. We enjoy the highest deportation rate in history today not because some influencer got redpilled a few years ago and began making the theoretical case for deportations at a time when that theoretical case was exploding in popularity, but because GOP voters elected GOP politicians to change government policy….
…. Influencers often point out that many Republican voters are demoralized. That is true. But part of that demoralization comes not from the real mistakes that Trump has made, but rather the parallel universe that these influencers have created online by lying, embellishing, and spreading defeatist sentiment near-constantly.”

Its weird that an OPC elder has been attacking James Baird’s family, posting pictures of his kids, & making “your mom” posts (all under the guise of humor) and no one cares.
Guess they’re too busy hunting down “kinists” and guys who believe what the Bible says about gender.
