For those who defend FIFA and the World Cup “supply and demand” prices.
1. FIFA is a non profit, again… profit should never be the priority.
2. FIFA: “Bring the game to all” let’s fix it to “bring the game to all who can maximize our revenues”
There are no excuses for pricing out fans, this is the most expensive World Cup of all time.
Ticket prices should be lower and the resale market should be capped at the original price…
@herculezg You know what’s a shame? ….
That Javier Aguirre didn’t call up Rodrigo Huescas !
It is baffling that he didn’t call him up after his recent performances in cHaMpIonLs lEaGuE qualifying matches!
Damn. Toluca Manager Turco Mohamed told his GK if there was a penalty kick and Sergio Ramos stepped up he would try a Panenka.
Watched Sergio Ramos PK highlights on YouTube. 🤣
It just goes to show you how subjective this reward can be.
Pedri may not have been Top 3, but to have him out of the Top 5, let alone 10, is criminal. #BalondeOr
Soccer is massive in the USA
MLS is not massive in the USA
🇺🇸 is a world class market for soccer & its people go bonkers for authentic club soccer every year.
USA soccer is drastically held back by the U.S. Soccer Federation/MLS closed system.

I’m deeply against the ICE raids happening across the country. No one deserves to be harassed or dehumanized—regardless of their background, status, or job.
I try to stay out of politics with my public views. I don’t identify as right or left. But I do feel obligated to speak up for those who don’t have the platform. Silence, in moments like these, feels like betrayal.
Seeing Los Angeles get torn apart like this… it’s devastating. Families broken, children physically separated from their parents, neighbors turning on each other, and entire blocks damaged in the name of “justice”—it feels like we’re losing ourselves.
This country was built on the backs of immigrants. I stand with those who’ve been the backbone of this nation for generations—working, sacrificing, and holding up entire communities with little recognition.
I’m sickened by how extreme both sides have become—how quickly we dehumanize anyone who disagrees with us, how everything turns into a battle instead of a conversation. It’s exhausting, and it’s tearing us apart.
Politics has blinded our ability to feel and reason. We’ve let anger replace empathy and division replace dialogue.
This isn’t who we are. This isn’t the way.
I’m at a loss for words. Nothing I can say can mend the heartbreak of seeing a family member ripped from their very community or seeing the life you helped build destroyed in protest.
Please stay safe. Be aware. And show compassion to one another.
It's official. Promotion and relegation is coming to American soccer—and American pro sports—for the first time 🇺🇸
USL owners have voted to adopt a pro-rel system across the USL's three tiers of soccer, once the new top league launches in 2027/28 ⏳
There is more prize money than winning MLS Cup, a Concacaf Champions Cup spot, and it will only take seven games to do it.
I will never understand those who don’t treat this tournament seriously.
Long live the Open Cup!

Estamos en una época hermosa para el americanismo.
Estamos ante un VERDADERO EQUIPO DE ÉPOCA.
ESTAMOS ANTE EL AMÉRICA DE JARDINE.
Neymar has tried NINE different penalty kick techniques throughout his career 🤯

- Fake ball adjustment
- Fast run up
- Switch kick
- No run up
- Panenka
- Pass
- Current technique
Outrageous.
🚨 OFFICIAL: UEFA statement on Julián Álvarez penalty.
“Atlético de Madrid enquired with UEFA over the incident, which led to the disallowance of the kick from the penalty mark taken by Julián Alvarez at the end of yesterday’s UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid”.
“Although minimal, the player made contact with the ball using his standing foot before kicking it, as shown in the attached video clip. Under the current rule (Laws of the Game, Law 14.1), the VAR had to call the referee signalling that the goal should be disallowed”.
“UEFA will enter discussions with FIFA and IFAB to determine whether the rule should be reviewed in cases where a double touch is clearly unintentional”.
