I’m no supporter of Donald Trump, but I’ll give him this: he’s held up a mirror to society and revealed just how many people put hatred, bigotry, and self-interest above compassion and decency. What shocks me most is how many now wear it proudly.
🚨NEW: It has emerged that Labour's Manchester council chief, Sir Howard Bernstein, who signed the 2015 "first refusal" land deal with Man City owners ADUG, was later given the role of Man City's strategic adviser after leaving the council

There is a Burnham-Manchester-UAE scandal brewing about this Abu Dhabi-Man City stuff.
As people find more out about the scale of corruption by Man City's owners, they'll also learn of the "sweetheart deals" handed to them in Manchester.
Watch this space.
Abu Dhabi Andy has got some explaining to do.
Of all the potential locations, Andy Burnham chose to construct his new No 10 North at a site where Manchester City's UAE owners reportedly had a decade long right of first refusal.
The relationship between Burnham, Manchester and UAE is becoming increasingly interesting.
🚨NEW: A senior director at Labour-run Manchester council quit in protest over the deal that reserved land for the Man City owners, now set to be used for "No 10 North", citing concerns officials were being asked to do things that left them "severely compromised"

Really getting sick of this argument that City's era was some solution to competitive balance
It was only good for City

🚨 Manchester City’s owners were handed what has been described as a “sweetheart” property deal by Manchester City Council. 🏗️
A 10-year agreement gave Sheikh Mansour’s Abu Dhabi United Group a “right of first refusal” on council-owned land being sold across large parts of east Manchester, effectively giving them first opportunity to secure potential developments.
The arrangement has raised fresh questions over the close relationship between Manchester authorities and Sheikh Mansour’s Abu Dhabi interests.

Burnham is going to have a tenure like Liz Truss.
Can’t believe he was so stupid to talk about Man City and defend them, no one was looking at him, now everyone is.
This will cost him his job.
