Over the years I've come to really appreciate both the M'Cheyne reading plan and the Psalms cycle from the BCP. It's helpful to see how Keller uses these without getting overwhelmed, but still goes deep in study and prayer.

Daily I do 1) M'Cheyne reading plan (4 chaps): a) I study one with a commentary and b) just read and take notes on the other three 2) then I pray thro the Psalms of the day (using BCP plan for month) That all takes about 25 min 3) Then I meditate on the texts and pray for 20 mins

I used the M'Cheyne reading schedule for many years and loved it. Since November I have been using the BCP Psalms guide and really appreciated it too. For both I take them at a slower pace, taking two years to get though the MCheyne schedule and 60 days for the Psalms. 👍👍

I can't recommend highly enough two Bible-disciplines. (1) Read-pray thro all the psalms every 30 days using the BCP Psalter schedule--morning and evening. (2) Read the OT once and the NT twice every year using the M'Cheyne reading calendar. Life changing esp over the yrs.

@pastormontmc I'm grateful to have so many excellent translations. When I was young it was NASB and NIV... Then I used the ESV for about a decade. Recently I've been appreciating the NET and its deep translation notes. Excited to try the First Nations English translation soon.
