A random memory I have a photo of: I got up at 5 am to watch the Buxton v Morecambe FA Cup match in December 2021. Cole Stockton scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory on that freezing pitch.

Adam Lakeland reached the NLN playoffs with King’s Lynn Town in 2024/25 and finished 8th with Halifax Town in the 2025/26 National League, just one place outside the playoffs. Here’s a look at his managerial stats.

Adam Lakeland has been appointed as our manager. Reading our fanbase’s opinions since yesterday, it seems almost everyone, if not the majority, agrees it’s a very good appointment. After looking into his work at Halifax, King’s Lynn Town, Curzon and Farsley, I join that feeling.
