Moretown is a wonderful place for children to learn and grow. We challenge our students academically in an environment filled with joy, compassion & humor.
Our school counselor Mr. Stevenson shared about how you can lean into the things that make you a little nervous, like public speaking, and feel pretty great about it on the other end. He also revealed Flat JaCK has been in the “Windy City.”
Our youngest learners have wonderful guides. Preschoolers try something new, check in, and try something else. All the time making new pathways of information and experience. See that look? Checking in communicates connection, trust and attunement. #wotyc#worktogetherwednesday
#SELday everyday at Moretown. As a community we believe we are truly better together. Learning about how to be a community is at the core of social emotional learning. More Joy. More community. More kindness. Moretown @jstevevt
Celebrating the wonder of water at Moretown School with our “Water is Life” project. Truly a collaborative effort by our staff, folks from Northbranch, community members and resident scientists! We will explore water through our ECO framework, and through art!
Today we read Swimmy as a school community. Swimmy shows us that we can be part of something bigger, and together we are even stronger. More Community. More teamwork. Moretown. #SELday
MES students are amazing! They are reflective, grateful and kind. We dedicated this week to kindness, one of the core values at MES. We had a kindness spirit week. Sure the community got to wear hats and jammies, but the message was clear: Kindness matters. @jstevevt
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito. -Dalai Lama We are dedicating March to round up some change for kids! #morekindness#morecommunity#morejoy Moretown
