@Owen_Stephens I feel you. Finally paid of my car at the beginning of this year, and was using the extra $ to pay down my one credit card that got out of control during grad school. BUT now everything in my house is breaking and I'm just... sigh.
@LuminousLuke As a book editor, said works because it's almost invisible. We skim right over it. Try reading "sighed, yelled, screamed, snarled" after EVERY sentence and it's a ridiculous chore. Sure, use other words to draw emphasis to a particular moment, but please, please stick with said!
Borrowed from @RobertKendzie
1. I am not that emotionally invested and can't name more than 5.
2. Kermit.
3. There are RANKS?
4. Now that depends entirely on if we're talking comics, live action, or one of the many animated versions....
5. Rebel alliance.
@JesseCox I played it on launch and was right ahead of the updates/patches, and it was terrible. Replayed it last year, and it's a pretty good game... just not exactly what I was hoping for from a ME continuation. Combat is excellent thank goodness. Worth it at today's prices I think.
After 8 bloody long months, I have transitioned into my new job. My stress level is much more manageable, though it's going to take some time to recover. I can already tell I'm sleeping better and I have more energy. Hopefully I'll be able to get streaming soon! I have ideas.
@RobertKendzie Everything about the original show is amazing. I was gifted the DVD boxset by my Dad for a Christmas, and it's one of the few series I will never get rid of.
@RobertKendzie 26. Raphael
27. Blue
28. HAHAHAHAH. Batman.
29. Nope. That list is WAY too long. Stories are only good because they have good and interesting villains, otherwise no one cares or remembers them.
30. Sam.
@RobertKendzie 14. Spike.
15. Justice League.
16. Playstation.
17. ALL OF THEM.
18. This broke me.
19. Sleeping Beauty.
20. I only know what was in the MCU so Loki.
21. Chaotic good.
22. Is the Undertaker still around?
23. Autobot?
24. The what who?
25. I haven't watched/read... don't hurt me.
@Owen_Stephens I work at a colorectal clinic. We have a lot of patients with all stages who have been cancer free for many years post treatment. It's scary, but you caught it, and that's a huge step! Wishing you all the best vibes and wishes for your treatment journey.
They finally hired someone for my position at work... only took 6 months. Wish me luck with training (both them, and for MY new position). Hopefully soon I'll be less angry and/or tired.
Welp, the news certainly under reported this snowstorm. People were sliding backwards down hills on my way home. Mildly terrifying. Made it home safe however! Be careful out there. This extended winter weather is a doozy.
