Aston Villa can confirm a small number of personnel changes to Unai Emery's coaching staff.
Pako Ayestaran (Assistant Coach) and Antonio Rodríguez Saravia (Individual Performance Coach) will both depart the club, having been part of Unai's coaching staff since his appointment in 2022 and have played an integral role in the club's recent on-field success.
José María Sanz will join as Assistant Coach, subject to visa approval. Sanz is a well-respected coach with over 20 years of experience with the likes of Valencia, Sheffield United and Osasuna.
Both Pako and Rodri will always remain hugely popular at Aston Villa and everyone at the club would like to thank them for their service as well as wishing them all the very best for the future.

@brianjhomer@AVFCOfficial I have literally 0 complaints with who is starting today! It’s the way we format the team sheet which is my gripe (which I appreciate in the grand scheme of things isn’t a big deal!)
@Scott689784917@AVFCOfficial Haha certainly not, I was down at Villa Park celebrating 🥳 just irritating to see number order. We all know this game means naff all haha
