@MattLevy51 American English is notorious for frequently used but rule defying idioms, turning adjectives into verbs, and having to abide by multiple old language rules when using words with origins in Latin, Greek, German, Yiddish, French, Old English, etc.
@MattLevy51 I feel that the reason autocorrect is so infuriating is because the device tries to correct the sentence word by word when that's not how English works. One has to take the sentence as a whole to know which meanings and/or spellings of words are appropriate.

@adamconover Plaques like that are a requirement for a tall building that got a height exemption in exchange for providing plaza space. It's basically proof that they used an exact percentage of their total lot for public use.
