Our shelters remain open in St. Louis to assist those impacted by Friday's severe storms and tornado. You do not have to stay overnight to come in for assistance including water, snacks and information on resources. The locations are as follows:
• Friendly Temple Outreach Center 6356 Dr. Martin Luther King Dr., St. Louis, MO
• 12th & Park Recreation Center: 1410 S. Tucker Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63104
***Please note, that we have a shelter at Grace United Methodist Church , 6199 Waterman Blvd, St. Louis, MO, however it is FULL. There is plenty of space available at Friendly Temple and 12th and Park Rec Ctr.. We will open additional shelters as needed.
Anyone needing assistance following the storms, please go to a shelter or call 1-800-Red-Cross for information and other resources.
Family confirms Patricia Pendleton was the member of Centennial Christian Church who lost her life in Friday's storm. Her husband, Harry, giving me permission to share her name and these photos. He tells me Pat was at the church by 11AM to serve lunches to those in need. @KMOV
