Left it on the field, going 10/15 during my last week of @KremlinSoftball which included a 7/11 Regional Tourney. A few days later I followed up w a 4/5 (2 doubles & a triple) day in tb. @NOCEnidSB

[Morgan Hayes @MorganHayes24]

This week @KremlinSoftball (13-3)
played well, won big and also dropped a couple of tight ones to great opponents. Keeping a batting avg over .600 (.614) is a grind. Few highlights.

Helped @kremlinsoftball win our 5th straight conf tourney by going 5/8 w 3 doubles, 1 triple, 1 hr, 4bb, 8 rbi and 6r. Humbled to be named Tournament MVP! I love my team! @NOCEnidSB

.556 avg out of the leadoff spot as our team went 4-1 for the weekend. Still hitting .500 for the season. Liner to the gap highlighted yesterday.@NOCEnidSB @OCeaglesSB @OBU_Softball @SBUbearcats_SB @NWOSU_SB @SWOSUSoftball

1st night of summer league for local schools & @KremlinSoftball. As the only SR it was good to see the underclassmen play so well. 4/4 night for me with a few free bases, runs & several rbi's. @NOCEnidSB @OCeaglesSB @OBU_Softball @SBUbearcats_SB @NWOSU_SB @SWOSUSoftball

Broke out the -3 birch lumber for a workout on bat control and conditioning. Love the sound of a wood bat. Better than I was yesterday.

Another fun saturday at the ballpark. Made a few plays, hit the ball hard, had some hits, scored a few runs, swung and missed, smiled and laughed. Couple highlights below.

[Houston Astros @astros]

My teammates played outstanding as we went 6-1 to take the 18U Championship. Cage work paid off as I batted .500 (7 for 14) w 1 sac bunt, 2 doubles, 5 rbi, and 6 runs, including game winning rbi in finals and a game-tying fielders choice that took it to extras in the semis.

Late night workout to get back in fastpitch mode. Focusing on in/away and working on some tweaks given to me by @CoachHill_NOC during a recent visit to @NOCEnidSB .

Kremlin 5th street drivers, watch out for flying objects on home game days. A few of us have already started sending them that way and lots more are on the way.

Slowpitch season has officially started!! Lady Broncs have started off hot with 2 run-rule wins‼️ Each one of these ladies has dropped one bomb so far💣💣💣 Ready for the Spring Swing Tournament this weekend!!

[Jon Beck @CoachJonBeck]

The best player on a team isn’t always the player who scores the most. Sometimes it’s the player who has a high IQ or a diverse/versatile skill set or a player who is unselfish & coachable or who knows their role inside & out. Basing “good” only on points scored is a big mistake!

[Morgan Hayes @MorganHayes24]

When asked what position I played, I was taught to answer "wherever the coach puts me", so when my slowpitch coach says he really needs me in left, it was easy to get my cleats off the dirt and onto the grass.
Good win and start to the season. Love my team! @KremlinSoftball
