Time for us to take responsibility. Over100,000 people have died from the https://t.co/cW3EheC3gB is what we can do:wash hands, wear a mask andsocial https://t.co/2pbGHUj3oq’s negligent that the Pres /VP are not modeling theownCDC guidelines. But let’s control what we can control.
Being home during the virus has been hard for all. But the current inept leadership, lack of understanding of POTUS’s national role is hard to fathom. We are like a FB team where each guy runs his own play. See if that work. Sorry for the rant but this is childish. Stay safe.
We have all met positive people; always meet you with a smile and are ready, willing and able to join in accomplishing any task. That was John NineMay we all keep his family in our prayer; and May John be having his favorite beverage with some Boilermaker cronies RIP, good friend.
If we are learning anything through this awful period is that we need to teach civility to our kids. We have become a very negative nation- both the media and presenters. Coming out we have a leadership duty to be optimistic, accountable and caring.
I am sad to hear of Steve Beering’s passing and our sympathy goes out to sons, Peter and David and family. But he is now reunited with the love of his life, Jane. For those who knew Jane, you know Steve viewed her as integral partner at Purdue. Quite a team. May they RIP.
Congrats to all associated with a special moment. Everyone counted us out. Wrong! Still have my ring and brings back unbelievable memories. All be safe. We will get through this. Then the balls will be bouncing in Mackey again.
Crazy time. Lots of talking heads and lots of issues without good answers. It can drag you down but I have a simple recipe to fight that feeling of hopelessness- make a one call, write one note to someone you have not interacted with for awhile. Ask them to do the same.
Congrats to Matt Painter on 500 games coached at Purdue. You have proven to be one of the best, and we are glad you are at your alma mater. The feeelings of your former players show your genuineness. Good luck at Rutgers.
RIP Pete Dye. You and Alice are back together. You built two wonderful courses at Purdue for which we can never say thank you both enough. Truly a magnificent gift and labor of love.
So proud of Tyler. 30 years old and his first PGA win. That is a Boilermaker. Never give up until you have the prize. Congrats as well to Coaches Brouse and Bradley.
Bill Lynch, who's spent time on the sidelines at @ButlerUFootball , @BallStateFB@IndianaFootball and @DePauwU is cqlling it a career after 40 years as a coach in January. Good man, great ambassador for college football in our state.
The news about Marcus Bailey’s injury is an awful jolt to all but especially to this young man. He is a class act who has represented himself, his family and his team with class. Let’s send him all the good vibes we can. His maturity and personal fortitude will see him through.
