#DCIM353b I got a lot out of this course on disruptive change! I always thought disruption was negative, but now seeing how it positively impacts our world is eye opening. I really enjoyed applying content for the final blog. Really great course!
@AlexisDillin Seeing counter employees disappear and devices appear is nerve racking. I see this often and know that it is to make lines and ordering more efficient, but the problem is losing jobs. I wish there could be a way to keep those employees while implementing the new devices!
@Erikasblog I agree that we will live in a cashless culture. With venmo, apple pay, and even specific banks created their own services there is really no reason to cary around money. I am curious to see what security breaches this will bring! #DCIM353b
@cscivtec I completely agree with this! I feel like almost everything is becoming a "smart device". I own an Apple Watch and now that I own this, I never wear my old watch that was just an accessory to me. Im curious to see what else will develop from this! #DCIM353b
#DCIM353b One prediction I have for emerging technology, is that Artificial Intelligence will play a large role in the hiring process for companies. Whether the company is small or large, a majority of the process will be taken care of through AI. https://t.co/ZKUagmFxfO
#DCIM353b For the exam I definitely think that knowing the ins and outs of how music publishing has changed is crucial for the exam. We use music streaming services everyday to access our libraries, but knowing that these artists do not need major companies to produce them!
@PeytonEWagner I agree that it is hard to just trust any company in the world that we live in today. It is very easy to embellish what companies are doing and stand for online. I rely on proof that a company is a good place to work, and in good standings, not just trusting them to trust them!
@RUBiancaWatson I used this same article in my initial post! I think that when leaders are irresponsible online, it makes it hard to be supportive of their work offline. I thought that this articl had a lot of great points, that even people who are not leaders could take into consideration!

This article strongly relates to leadership and social media. A strong point that was made was that it is important for leaders to actively be on social media! Having a place for their followers to go and see their thoughts is crucial.
#txc18#DCIM353b In order to communicate efficiently through Twitter, to other schools, it is extremely important to stay interactive. Continuously checking responses, giving feedback, and exploring will not only benefit your own knowledge, but others as well!
#txc18#DCIM353b My primary take away from tweeting across different schools using the same hashtag, is that it is a great idea. Within the world of technology we are fortunate enough to connect with others, this assignment allowed us to do so in an academic setting!
@marin_bloise We have very similar personal identities! I have a desire to travel and will be fulfilling that when I study abroad next semester! I love to hike and am also active! I can completely relate! #txc18#DCIM353b
@sofDCIM This is amazing! I really love the fashion industry as well and the hustle and bustle that goes along with it! It is great that these pieces are signature I LOVE THE OUTFIT! #txc18#DCIM353b
@Jessica_3480@LOFT Wow this is really great! I am majoring in PR as well but want to focus more in media relations! I think it is great that you are already creating content on what you love! #txc18#DCIM353b
This photo represents my professional/academic identity! I was able to intern at this amazing company and fell in love with the music business and this city even more! #DCIM353b#txc18

@DannielFuentes_ Utilizing career services is really important! In high school it was easy to stay away but in college i could not live without them! #DCIM353b#txc18
@Samanth19528012 I completely agree! It is hard at times to keep track of everything, especially when its online! Getting a planner is a way to go! #DCIM353b#txc18
#DCIM353b#txc18 A key to finding success at Rutgers is joining clubs and participating in activities that you love! Even trying out new things. This school is so big that it is important to get involved and make it feel small and like home! https://t.co/ZXOzYohf7r
