Our hearts are profoundly heavy as we mourn the loss of our coach, mentor, teacher, colleague, and friend, Coach Ed Helbig. Please keep his family in your thoughts and your prayers. We will continue to “get one day better” for you Coach- we love you. ❤️

Sad to report that Ed Helbig has passed away from cancer. Was head coach or assistant at Baldwin for nearly 50 yrs. Also longtime WPIAL track/cross country chairman.
And simply an A-1 guy.
