We were facing a student mental health crisis before this pandemic, which has only grown since the COVID-19 pandemic began. We have to act now to provide our students with the supports and services they need to feel safe and supported and thrive in all areas of their lives.
Right now, the national average ratio of school psychologists to students is 1:1200 - more than double our recommendation. Congress must lift the funding freeze and help schools increase access to comprehensive school psychological services across the country. #NASPadvocates
