Not a great first half, few players out there playing like they don’t want to be there. Would like to see Koumas, Brooks, Congreave on in the second half.
Plus take Robert Earnshaw’s microphone away from him please.
George Russell is incredibly lucky that there are cars in the mid pack that’s much slower than his rocket ship of a car. He’s a million miles off Antonelli’s pace, this has nothing to do with Mercedes prioritising one driver.
He’s just not championship winning material facts.
Terrible chassis should be in this conversation as well. The car is practically undriveable they should just write this year off and put all focus on next season.
Lawrence Stroll needs to realise that building a super team doesn’t guarantee success.
Former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has agreed terms to become the new head coach of Slovan Bratislava.
It’s understood he will bring in ex-Celtic and Swansea City coach Darren O’Dea as his assistant.
Toure was previously assistant boss of Saudi Arabia.
@smitler1993@SCFC_Jamess The accountability falls on the owners for me though. They were happy enough to place Gorringe in charge running the club when he’s not equipped to do so.
@gavinshearer3@swansea_indy Matos won’t walk away when he’s contracted for 3/4 more years. The bigger issue is for me the owners seem happy enough to let TG control the footballing department.
If we don’t get a DOF in before the window opens then questions need to be asked about Gorringe.
@scottmwalker14 There’s also a part of me that thinks we might struggle to ship Ronald out mind. Clubs will looking at his attacking numbers and would think twice about taking a punt on him.
@scottmwalker14 I’d be looking to move Ronald on tbh mate and it’s probably for the best. We need a fresh look on our right side Congreave being one and a new winger through the door.
@ZackSwans_ Don’t think there’s any real need to panic over this either. At the end of the day we hold all the cards, if he had a year left it’s a different story hopefully it gets resolved one way or another as players like Gally are ones we should be building a team around.
@blaine_llew@thgorringe Considering they were planning to bring one in since speaking about in November and still not got one through the door is a shambolic position to be in.
Matos is being set up to fail with this kind of structure.
If Galbraith wants to leave then get the best fee possible and sell him no problem.
It’s easy for some to say “give him what he wants” at the end of the day the club shouldn’t be backed into a corner and forced to pay what he wants. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.
🚨 | Wrexham are keeping tabs on Swansea City midfielder Ethan Galbraith ahead of the summer window.
The Northern Ireland international has also attracted Premier League interest, while talks over a new Swansea deal have yet to progress.
Galbraith still has two years left on his current contract, plus the option of a further 12 months, but Swansea are keen to protect one of their key assets with improved terms.
An opening offer from the Swans was rejected by the player’s camp, with no second offer made at this stage.

@blaine_llew@thgorringe Agreed, the longer this DOF search goes on the more I worry that Gorringe will have too much power. Absolutely mental how the commercial guy is being given the responsibility to run the club on a weekly basis.
