@KeturahAbigail Yeah, when we talked yesterday I was giving an example based on the cases I grew up with, not trying to answer for all cases everywhere.
@abbythelibb_ I just caked up my navy, red, and white Cascade Heritage skeins! Most of mine will happen on our summer vacation trip, tho. Gonna try to sneak in a patriotic Cottage Hearts pattern, I think.
@GreatLakesWife_ Cas gets hope if we go in there and it gives him energy to keep screaming, lol.
Most of the time now it's just angry babbling at first and then he cries for a couple minutes and goes to sleep after.
@GreatLakesWife_ So, the timers didn't work for us at all. We ended up just letting him cry for a *while* the first couple nights. BUT, I know rage cry vs in distress cry, so I did have to go change him or comfort him some nights, but it ended up being fine after night 4.
@abbythelibb_ I'm currently obsessed with knitting socks but am not looking forward to yarn chicken if/when I try to make a second pair from the skein.
@brittilina My mental health couldn't handle a mixed pumping + formula because getting a fraction of what I used to make was beyond demoralizing.
Hubby told me to just fully switch to formula and it's been a great decision for our family.
@brittilina My husband having a travel job where we join him + long trips to see family also meant keeping a pumping schedule that would increase supply (it tanked during the healing period because my nipples were very bruised and swollen, to the point where I couldn't get the milk out)
@HeatherMJames3 I just picked up my first Cascade skeins this weekend thanks to some generous friends and their extremely thoughtful birthday gift!
Am excited to knit more colorwork with it.
@brittilina@RizomaSchool It's flipped for us this year, but my husband's mom has health issues.
Hubby took me yarn shopping this past weekend to celebrate me early, tho, he's definitely no slacker!
