@DoctorWhoWorld_ If you count Billie Piper as the eighth doctor, parallel to Mcgann’s eighth doctor, then they both only had a one episode appearance, before getting the show cancelled.
@PoorlyAgedWho The Toymaker said: “I turned your life into a jigsaw puzzle, I hope you like it”. Just make everything post-Capaldi, a Toymaker game and we’re good. You could even explain Hartnell meeting Capaldi, as the reason for Toymaker’s return.
@soufflewaffle True, but he definitely lost a lot of muscle mass, in those seven years. Which made the muscle suit, look even more unrealistic (towards the end). Which explains why they wrote it in, from season 4 onwards.
@lorxell (1) Season 4 works hard, to establish Butcher as unstoppable force and one man war machine, with Homelander as an immovable object. Only to have season 5 forget all that, for a Vought Rising commercial. I almost feel like it would have been better, to conclude the boys in the
@raccoon_r This moment destroyed the mythos of Homelander, before the finale even landed. This whole scene was designed, to pass the torch to Soldier Boy (as most important in the universe).
@Apex_willye Maybe Butcher was Neo to Stan Edgar’s Architect (in the Vought Matrix). They put Soldier boy in place, to Nerf Homelander with V1, knowing that Butcher is programmed to finish the job.
@lorxell It’s probably because Amazon realised, that they could monetise the Ackles fanbase; instead of alienating that fanbase, with the villain narrative. They have already lost all of their A-listers to Hollywood - Ackles is all they have left.
@Teslimatttt Just grab three medium sized boats (one at a time). That should be enough to hold a whole plane of people (albeit not comfortably - but everyone would survive).
@Teslimatttt Kimiko could have worn a hazmat suit (given that the virus is airborne) and Homelander’s reaction, should have been worse than Soldier Boy’s (as the V1 was ‘added’ to his modern V).
