This is a really weird way to talk about a bill that takes revenue from county schools and local governments AND takes away their ability to enforce their own rules- basically undermining all the local benefit of landing a data center and leaving only the negative externalities.

The House Finance committee just originated a bill that could eliminate the Medicaid expansion and, with it, health coverage for 166,000 West Virginians without a committee hearing, without notice, without any expert testimony.

This is really important. The consolidation story is not *only* about enrollment decline attributable to vouchers but also about the opportunity cost of investing in that vs. prioritizing fixing the school funding formula for schools that serve vast majority of our state's kids.

The WV legislative budget process is not transparent or easy to understand. It’s on purpose

Need has been met and this community has come together to stop an evictions, filling the gaps in our community is so essential to putting an end to homelessness.
