Day 2 VS Italy Almeda takes the win. Great night of Ball.

There are truly no words to describe what an incredible experience this has been. Alameda All World—what a ride so far for game 2. So far we are 2-0. Watching my son simply enjoy the game, connect with others, and light up with joy has been something special. Watching him with his uncle Ken out on the field is a memory we will cherish. These boys are balling out and playing ball and having fun.

One of my favorite moments was seeing the little kids come up to Morgun asking for autographs, and watching him hand out gear with a smile on his face. The Japan team even recorded him catching and came over later to give him compliments—that moment said it all.

To see him smiling, being himself, and just enjoying the game of Baseball there’s nothing like it. Soak it all in, son. These are the moments you’ll never forget. These are the moments you will always cherish. Keep being you and your story is just beginning.

Proud Moment for the Brandon Family ⚾️

My son Morgun has been selected to play in the Alameda All-World International Series—a true honor and legacy moment for our family.

Alameda isn’t just a town to us… it’s home. It’s where generations of ballplayers in our family have taken the field, built memories, and left their mark.

Morgun’s great grandfather 'Lil' Arnerich was born and raised in Oakland, and later raised his own family right here in Alameda. Lil played for the Pacific Coast League for the Oakland Oaks.

Lil had four children—two of whom were drafted out of Alameda High School and went on to play for the Chicago Cubs (Ken Arnerich) and Cleveland Indians (Mel Arnerich. Morguns Uncle Ken continues to coach at Alameda High School and just was also nominated And put in the Hall of fame for Alameda High. He will also be rhe Tournament Director this week.

Morguns cousin Kenny Arnerich runs the Rascals organization in Alameda, while cousin Tony Arneich is now the Catching Coach for the MLB Seattle Mariners.

Baseball runs deep in our blood—and now it’s Morgun’s turn to carry on the legacy and represent his Alameda roots with pride.

He’ll be wearing #3 for this tournament. Games will be broadcast and streamed live at the link below—come tune in and cheer him on!

🔥 In the Arizona heat, our WF Nation-CA 17U National squad came ready to battle — going 1-1 on the day. It wasn’t enough to crack the Top 4, but the growth is showing, and next tournament, we’re coming for that championship spot. 💯💪 I Did good for being a class of 2028 and playing up.

Game 1 – W 10-1 vs AZ Majestics 18U
We turned up in the 6th with a 6-run explosion! 💥
👉 Chayce Formosa dominated on both sides: 6IP, 6K + 2 RBI
👉 Morgun Brandon tripled and drove in 2
👉 Jack Kiesel and Chayce each went 2-for-3
👉 Defense turned a smooth double play and stayed locked in

Game 2 – L 4-2 vs Diamond Club Select 17U
Out-hit ‘em 8-3 but fell short in a tight one.
👉 Morgun Brandon led with 2 hits + 3 stolen bases
👉 Tristian Murphy crushed an RBI double
👉 Jacob Wilkerson threw strong: 5.1 IP, 0 earned runs

Can't wait for next week Perfect Game Pacific Coast tournament at Mission College.

Man, what a game tonight against Granada High! I’m so proud of our team and how we battled. We were down 0-1 in the final inning with two outs, and Miles Cornell came up huge with a clutch single and ended up scoring the tying run to keep us alive.

Then in the 10th inning, I got my shot. I hit a fly ball to left field and Britto came around to score, giving us the 2-1 lead. From there, we just had to lock it down—and we did.

Behind the plate, I felt locked in all game. Ended the night with 3 caught stealing, 1 pickoff, and did everything I could to be a wall back there. Felt good to make an impact on both sides of the game.

Here’s my line for the night:

.250 BA

Not a perfect night, but I did my job when it counted. Can’t wait for next Saturday, April 19th—we’re back on our home field, and it’s going to be a battle. Let’s go!

Proud of myself. I’ve been grinding. The past few weeks, the hits weren’t falling like they usually do, but instead of getting down, I got to work. After team practices, I head straight to the facility, put in extra reps, and still find time to coach my Littles. NO EXCUSES

What a game we were tied with De La Salle going into 7th inning. Then in 9th inning they won by 1. Ended the night with a walk, a single, PO to SS, and then hit until a double play. Tomorrow we play Castro Valley at 4pm at Liberty. A new day of ball. Let's win this tomorrow Lions
