Nine years ago today, a friend drove me from DC to St. Mary's City to pick up Miles, who at 10 weeks old already knew how to pose for a formal portrait. He flopped down inside the pet carrier and loudly demanded tummy rubs. Celebrating nine years of total attachment.
@EstherCinDC I am so sorry Esther! The loss is even harder to bear when you couldnโt say goodbye in person. But I am sure Prudence knew how much you loved her.
@catsofnpr The cats in the illustration look so well adjusted. The last tie I moved, from Boston to DC, my two Siamese cats meowed nonstop: a Siamese duet of distress!
@EstherCinDC I love your cats and the reference you made to them and your dog after the morning edition feature about braising children without stress.
