It was for healthcare so not unreasonable to swing “yes” but for a progressive party in a very wealthy county of millionaire actors, musicians etc. I don’t know why eat the rich wasn’t a more equitable approach rather than tax the Everyman. I think it’s a little bit of “we hate the rich unless, of course, they’re OUR rich”.

I remember, years ago, as an American traveling to Southern France (Nice,Cannes) and Monaco. I thought my friend in the States, son of a successful doctor, was rich. Then I saw all the floating mansions and realized his level of wealthy wouldn’t even buy a tender for these rich. A whole nother level.

I don’t understand why you’re calling this with votes still to be counted unless there are not enough outstanding ballots to make the difference , regardless if you think they’ll mostly swing left. This is part of the problem. If you believe in every ballot should count then you need to wait until every ballot is counted. Don’t ASSUME anything. Otherwise it looks partisan. I really never understood why Bass was projected so early. It’s such a double standard.

If enough people demand it. The Republicans, in general, are competent at many things but challenging the Dems in court they are weak at. Don’t really understand why. The dems are much more competent at legalize. Most republicans, sadly, are not. The “name that can’t be spoken” is willing to play dirty and the mainstream Repubs hate him for it.
