@SantaBabyBSC@ContaboCom I was already done with Contabo two weeks ago, but I didn't think we would experience two more major outages before I even got a chance to migrate to a different provider.
@ContaboCom Since the Seattle Datacenter has redundant PSUs, UPS and a diesel generator, how can a power outage leave you with "no influence" over the situation?
And if "The power supply in Seattle has been restored.", why is everything still offline?
@ContaboCom On top of that, if you are running an operation like this in the US, you should have a support line that is monitored during typical US business hours, when your clients will most likely be relying on those services. Especially when you upcharge for US locations.
@ContaboCom Also, it currently says on https://t.co/kZY8QxHe9w that "The power supply in Seattle has been restored."
Everything still seems to be offline. Just like with the last Seattle outage, all 2,048 hosts in the 66.94.120.0/21 subnet are offline (about 1707 should be up).
@ContaboCom Same here. VPS in Seattle (Host 18633), 3rd major service interruption in 2 weeks. Only one of those was actually communicated in time (as a notification on the Control Panel).
Last time the reply was "our team will perform a root cause analysis". What happened?
