Just in case you're still riled up about standardized testing happening this year (or any year)...

Seriously, how long are we going to pretend that making students feel bad about themselves because of their score on a largely arbitrary test is anything but incredibly toxic? #cancelstandardizedtests
Can someone that doesnโt work for a giant corporation explain how we are serving our students by continuing to allow standardized tests to dominate their futures? Or to exist at all?
Black History Month may end today, but teaching and learning and celebrating and appreciating Black excellence should not.
Keep the dialogue open.
Devote your time to understanding.

@NTFT219 Lost learning? How is this being quantified? I would love to hear a discussion that respects and values the tremendous efforts made by teachers AND students to create quality educational experiences during this time.
The rush to โreturn to normalโ is understandable, but failing to capitalize on this moment to create a BETTER normal feels like a missed opportunity. That includes how we imagine our schools and the role they play in our lives. #backtoschool
S/o to all the teachers fighting to create safe AND high quality educational experiences for their students during this time.
Wouldn't it be cool if this trended as much as the tweets blaming teachers for all of society's ills?
It took me longer than expected to figure out how to get this rainbow emoji next to my name, so if anyone needs help, let me know. Next I'm going to tackle TikTok...
I know there's a lot going on right now, but I convinced Disney to let me stream The Sixth Sense to my film classes, and that feels like a pretty big win for education. #thankyou#MouseOverlords
