@motleyvision I’ve been in a few bishoprics, and Mother’s Day is hands down the highest-risk day in a bishoric’s year. Mostly you just want to make it home alive.
Smug when Dodgers went up 1 game to zero. Humbled when it was tied at 1. Smug when they went up 2-1. Deeply humbled in that last play that took it to 2-2. And thus we see the pride cycle, courtesy of MLB.
Based on where last name falls in the ward directory, we did not score tickets to opening day at church. Wonder if we can pick up scalper tix? “Sorry, man. Can’t do less than $50 for the pair. It’s a missionary farewell.”
Wait, we can go to church now, but we can’t sing the hymns? Isn’t that stretching things a bit much? Then again, if we’re wearing masks, maybe we can sing if we want to, but just look around while we do with a “hey, who’s singing?” look.
Reminder: Saturday at 10:30 Mountain, we’ll be live-streaming episode 2 in our “How to Tie a Tie Refresher” series. This episode will focus on The Full Windsor Knot. #GeneralConference#notreally
In case of emergency, break glass. My white handkerchief from when I worked on the Provo City Center Temple cultural celebration has been standing by for such a time as this. #generalconference
@utahalison I wish I knew. It was tweeted by a screenwriting site I follow, and they were requesting the source as well, but wanted to share it. If I find it, I will post it here.
