Join us this evening to be inspired, and get your Earth Day actions in motion.
We’re so happy to have our former MESA communications intern Abigail Mackay joining this engaged group of environmental activists and advocates.
@Ch_JesusChrist@NelsonRussellM President Nelson ushered in this millennium with his direction to “care for the earth, be wise stewards over it, and preserve it for future generations. And we are to love and care for one another.” A remarkable man and we would all do well to follow his guidance.
@Ch_JesusChrist@ChristoffDTodd Thank you Elder Christofferson for this great message. We add that part of God’s will is caring for the earth and all of His creations, even the ecological systems that sustain all life—https://t.co/n2bCqvk9Ev
@Ch_JesusChrist Thank you Elder Bednar for a beautiful restoration message. We add that the restoration of all things includes the literal restoration of the earth to a celestial state, overcoming “the miserable practices of men” toward the environment that President Kimball & others chastised.
@Ch_JesusChrist Easter this year is followed immediately by Earth Day. Easter is the celebration of Christ as our Redeemer. Earth Day offers an opportunity to celebrate Christ as the Creator of all things, as reminded in this Earth Day message—https://t.co/n2bCqvk9Ev
@Ch_JesusChrist@DaleGRenlund Great message Elder Renlund. Powerful messages in Jesus’ parables. We add that caring for the earth, which sustains life and health, is also a way to care for each other.
@Ch_JesusChrist We loved the image and metaphor of the tree in these remarks, which is a symbol often used in Gospel references. It is the reason we use the tree as the symbol and mark of our nonprofit, faith based environmental advocacy organization as well.
