🇲🇦🇫🇮 At the World Village Festival in Finland, cultures from around the world came together in a spirit of diversity and exchange. Among all the beautiful representations, the Moroccan Sahrawi tent stood out with its authenticity, elegance, warmth, and rich cultural heritage.

Special thanks and appreciation to Ms. Jamila Alinjourni and the Moroccan Sahraoui Association for their remarkable participation and for showcasing the true spirit of Moroccan Sahrawi culture with pride, dignity, and generosity.

The Moroccan presence reflected the real values of the festival: peace, dialogue, mutual respect, coexistence, and solidarity among peoples. Morocco once again demonstrated the beauty of its cultural diversity and the richness of its ancestral traditions.

Morocco has officially ranked #1 in Africa’s industrialization index, surpassing South Africa for the first time, according to the African Development Bank’s 2025 Africa Industrialisation Index.

A testament to over 15 years of sustained industrial policy, strategic investments, and the rise of globally competitive sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy.

🇲🇦🤝🇫🇮 A renewed strategic impetus was imparted to relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Finland through the two-day visit of Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Ryad Mezzour, accompanied by a business delegation from the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), led by its newly elected President, Mr. Mehdi Tazi.

The visit featured high-level meetings with Finnish officials, substantive exchanges with companies operating in the fields of water management and maritime industries, as well as field visits, notably to Vuosaari Harbour, with a view to exploring avenues for enhanced industrial and technological cooperation.

The mission culminated in the signing of a partnership agreement between the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK), alongside the establishment of the Morocco–Finland Business Forum, intended to provide a structured platform for sustained dialogue and cooperation between the private sectors of both countries.

The agreement seeks to reinforce industrial and economic collaboration, promote co-investment and technology transfer, and advance strategic partnerships in sectors to be jointly identified by both parties during future meetings and follow-up events.
